Header Area

The header area at the top of your site is where you put your site title name.  It also has the option for a second, sub-title.  This might be a company motto or it might be some short message you might want especially visible.

Images can be inserted into the header area.  The default size is 1000 pixels wide by 200 pixels high.  Some clients use a combination of images with their logo as their header image.  (This is all graphics work done offline and uploaded as a single image.)  The header on this site is customized with an “image slider” that automatically scrolls between various images.  Some choose to have random images appear each time a new page or post is loaded.  With that option, each screen refresh in your browser will result in a new header image.

This site’s header has been customized to have the site title and sub-title centered in the body of the page.  The Twenty Twelve WordPress theme (that this is based on) normally places the site title and sub-title on the left margin.
